OK so to break down my pet peeve today: (For anyone who reads this and I offend, I am not sorry! I'm not trying to be cruel but trying to make a point!)
First off Drama Queens, get over it the world does not in fact revolve around you; if you don't like the way something is ging in your life change it or accept it BUT STOP complaining to everyone about it. Either pee or get of the pot plain and simple!!!!! (Are you pregnant and getting fatter, having morning sickness you knew that could happen DUH, stop complaining about it, have a toddler who is off the wall, they are a toddler duh, have a kid who won't eat anything but fast food, STOP feeding him only fast food DUH! Tired of your husband/boyfriends tryst, drinking, etc, then LEAVE DUH, stop complaining! Sad because you can't find a job or your failing at college get off Facebook and look for a job or do the work DUH, but stop complaining!)
Second Hypocrites, don't tell me how to live my life and I won't tell you how to live yours, I will give advice and I won't judge, HOWEVER stop judging before you know all the facts or all sides of the story (there are 3 sides to every story after all). Stop judging others for the choices they make, walk 100 miles in someone else's shoes before you open your mouth to me or about me, otherwise you have leg to stand on with me, period! (Want to complain about Abortions volunteer for planned parenthood and see what truly brings these women in, want to complain about gas prices stop driving for the day take public transportation or WALK (I know such a new concept), want to complain how pissed of you are at the UNITED STATES government for anything go live somewhere else!, LASTLY you want to tell me how to live my life, trade places with me for a week or else shut the hell up!)
Lastly Religious Zelots, I love all my friends and I have MANY friends who are Christians, I try ver hard not to judge anyone based on religion and even when I do say something it's based on facts, HOWEVER, I am tired of all the Christians who post (OR TEXT, OR EMAIL, OR say "I'll pray for you") who never once consider I don't believe. MY faith is my faith and I do not push it on anyone however today I will share it. I WAS once a "Christian" and by definition anyone who believes in Jesus is (so that means, even Catholics and Mormons are in Fact Christians!) So then I am because I do believe he existed I DO NOT believe he was the son of GOD, I also don't believe that GOD can be proven, the afterlife, heaven or hell. So then what do I believe, I believe in Humanism.
What is Humanism; it encompasses a variety of nontheistic views (atheism, agnosticism, rationalism, naturalism, secularism, and so forth) while adding the important element of a comprehensive worldview and set of ethical values (I am a VERY Ethical person), informed by scientific knowledge, and driven by a desire to meet the needs of people in the here and now. Humanism is a worldview which says that reason and science are the best ways to understand the world around us, and that dignity and compassion should be the basis for how you act toward someone else. Humanism is nontheistic. By this, I don't mean to say that there is no God. I think that there is no proof for the existence of God, any gods, the supernatural or an afterlife. I do take very seriously the idea that "No deity will save us; we must save ourselves." (This is also the view of most Humanists) We are living the only life we'll have, in the only world we know about. The responsibility for the choices we make are ours and ours alone. All the choices we make should be based on this and this alone!
