V-Day (Men read this!)

Ok so Valentines Day is coming up! This is a hotly debated holiday! Why did it start and what is the real reason behind it. In my next blog I'll write on the history of it. This blog is for the men, okay yes this is a hallmark holiday, NO we don't need a holiday to know how much you love us. However we do like to get cards, flowers and dinner, sometimes you men are not the romantic of creatures. Playing video games is not romantic, fun maybe, we like flowers and you had BETTER know what our favorite flower is and we want 1 single one of them! or 12 of them either is good. Our favorite Chocolate or candy is also great! Plus a nice dinner. AND yes we know you also take us out to dinner more than on Valentines day but this is a special day about couples so this should be a couples day out! As for the card spend a little time on it please! We don't need a present although we like them Jewelery is not necessary unless its "that" time or long time together. Cute presents are always good! As for all you guys who don't celebrate it because you don't believe in it, understand this, NO matter what she says She is disappointed, besides its a few hours, think of all the things this women does for you after all a few hours means so much. How many Sundays does she spend on the couch watching sports? Letting you go out with the guys etc? 1 day? Because really Valentines day is about the women. 20 years later I still remember the guy who gave me a bear and wrapped my locker in valentines day paper and bought me flowers more than anyone else ever. (This sadly includes my ex husband) It was a small cute gesture that meant a lot! So men REALLY think about this when you are shopping sometimes something sweet to show you care even if YOU hate it is the most meaningful thing you can do.
