Today my challenge for everyone is to take time to be that friend that loves unconditional and makes a difference everyday in big or small ways. You never know what you do or say that stays with someone forever. Time is shorter than you think and change always comes. I miss my grandfather today more than ever it doesn’t seem like two years. I miss my friends and family very much today. It’s amazing what goes through your mind when you’re reflecting on stuff. My life is so different from last year at this time; In so many ways for the better. I would gladly go back however to have more time with my grandfather. It doesn’t seem like he’s been gone that long. Looking back it’s gone by so fast and in some ways not. Thinking back to me my grandfather to me was always old as a kids everyone seems old, he was quiet but he loved his life and was lucky enough to see not only his grandkids but many of his great-grandkids during his life. He was a silent man but you knew he was there for you. My Ryker really took it hard when grandpa died, I think partly because it was the first person in Ryker’s life to die and partly because grandpa lived close for a time and Ryker got to spend time with him. I have a great picture that Ryker took when we went to Minnesota of Grandpa, it’s not a perfect picture but that’s what so great about it, Grandpa is looking up at Ryker and the look on his face looking at his great-grandson is just so real. I miss my grandfather and realize how little time we have with those we love, so just for today find someone you love and let them know you love them. Time is far too short!
